Hyaluronic acid

This substance is naturally produced by our organism to hydrate and protect tissues and it is one of the main components of connective tissues on which it performs, together with collagen and elastin, an important structural function, giving the skin its particular properties of resistance, turgidity, and density. Skin ageing is associated with a decrease in the production of hyaluronic acid. A lack of this, in fact, leads to dehydration and weakening of the tissue structure, factors responsible for the formation of wrinkles and skin slackening.

Hydrolysed collagen

Collagen is one of the main components of connective tissue. It contributes to maintaining the firmness, tone, and turgidity of the skin, minimising the presence of wrinkles. The synthesis of collagen reduces with age, while it increases its degradation and, with this, the wrinkling of the skin, which becomes less firm and thinner. Hydrolyzed collagen, being reduced to small particles, thus helps the skin to counteract this degradation. It restructures, redensifies, and recompacts the skin, counteracting the loss of tone and preventing wrinkles.
